Haris Rehman

Haris Rehman has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Haris started their career in 2005 as an Assistant Manager Core Planning and Optimization, Senior Engineer Network Operations & NOC Engineer at Wateen Telecom. Here, they were responsible for the installation, commissioning, and integration of switching nodes for the Nortel Succession NGN Project.

In 2009, Haris joined NSN, a leading telecom vendor, where they provided Level 1&2 support for DX200 (MSS) & IPA2800 (MGW) platforms. Haris also worked on network optimization, expansions, upgrades, and provided support to planning and implementation teams for Telenor Rel-4 network.

From 2011 to 2012, Haris worked as a Technical Support Team Lead at Huawei Technologies, a world-leading telecom vendor. In this role, they managed the technical support team.

After that, Haris joined Telenor as a Core Network Planning specialist. Haris was responsible for core network design finalization, configuration data-fill for core network integrations, and planning core network swaps, upgrades, and traffic migrations. Haris also participated in RFQ, RFP, and testing activities for new features and services.

Currently, Haris is working at Ribbon Communications as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Haris is responsible for software QA and performance characterization of various Ribbon products, including the Ribbon Signaling product and Ribbon Application Server.

Throughout their career, Haris has demonstrated expertise in network planning, implementation, support, and quality assurance.

Haris Rehman earned a BSc in Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Haris attended the university from 2001 to 2004.
