James Garron

Sr. Manager, Technical Support Engineering at Ribbon Communications

James Garron has extensive experience in the technical support engineering field. James began their career at Varian Semiconductor in 1992 as a Network Engineer, and later joined Cisco as a Systems Engineer III. In 2003, they moved back to Varian Semiconductor as a Lead Installation Specialist. James then worked at Sonus Networks as a Product Support Engineer before being promoted to Product Support Manager. In 2015, they joined Affirmed Networks as a Senior Support Engineer. Currently, they are working at Ribbon Communications as a Distinguished Technical Support Engineer, with previous experience in the role of Senior Manager, Technical Support Engineering.

James Garron has a diverse education history. James first attended Gloucester High School from 1986 to 1988. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Technology/Technician at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, James enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, James also obtained certifications in specific fields. In December 2017, they earned the "Networking 4 Voice and Video over IP - SSVVP" certification from The SIP School. Furthermore, in June 2001, they obtained the "USCG 100GT Masters License" from the US Coast Guard.
