Don has 43 years of experience in the design, construction, and management of a wide variety of public infrastructure projects. Prior to joining RIC, Don worked for over 31 years at Johnson County as the Engineering Manager of the Road and Bridge Division of the Public Works Department. He administered the Department’s Road and Bridge program including all aspects associated with survey, design, right-of-way, utilities, construction, and inspection for road, bridge, culvert, and stormwater projects.
Don places a strong emphasis on quality control and communication. His experience working with citizens, agencies, utilities, and any other stakeholders ensures that projects are designed to meet expectations with minimum disruption to adjacent landowners and for the lowest reasonable cost.
