César Fuentes

César Fuentes has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as an Intern-Programmer at BDO Perú, where they were responsible for debugging, testing, and upgrading a proprietary Process Management program, as well as gathering data and conducting interviews with customers.

In 2007, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London.

From 2008 to 2011, César worked at Komatsu-Mitsui Maquinarias Peru S.A. as a Junior Engineer, and at O-I as an Inspection Systems Engineer.

In 2011, they joined ETH Zurich as a Master student, and later served as a Research Assistant, conducting research until October 2013.

From November 2013 to September 2017, César worked at localsearch (Swisscom Directories AG) as a Software Engineer.

In 2017, they joined ricardo.ch as a Principal Search Engineer.

Finally, in 2019, César worked as a Machine Learning Fellow at Fellowship.AI, where they worked on deep learning research and built machine learning solutions for companies of all sizes.

César Fuentes pursued their education in a chronological progression. In 2007, they completed a summer internship as a research assistant at Imperial College London. During the same year, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechatronics Engineering from the National University of Engineering. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they attended ETH Zürich, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science. Alongside their formal education, César Fuentes obtained a certification in Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect from LinkedIn in August 2022.
