Dave Connell

Dave Connell is an experienced educator and coach with extensive involvement in high school athletics and social studies education. Currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Rich Township High School District 227 since August 2020, Dave also has a long tenure at Rich East High School, beginning in August 1997, where responsibilities include teaching and coaching boys volleyball. Previous coaching roles include Assistant Varsity Coach for football at Homewood-Flossmoor High School and Head Varsity Football Coach at both Victor J Andrew High School and Rich South High School. With a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Illinois State University, Dave Connell combines academic expertise with a commitment to student-athlete development.
