Sharon Williams

Sharon Williams is the Course Manager for Business, Marketing, and Management at Richard Huish College. Sharon has over six years of experience in training and delivery, team leadership, and performance management. Sharon has a passion for helping their students overcome barriers to employment and reach their full potential.

Before joining Richard Huish College, Sharon worked as a Training and Delivery Team Leader at Prospects. In this role, they managed a team of six Ascent Advisors who helped clients on the Work Programme find and sustain employment. Sharon was responsible for communicating with local providers, specialist providers, and the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to ensure that the needs of their clients were being met.

Sharon is experienced in working with all types of learners, from those with low levels of basic skills to those with mental health issues. Sharon is known for their positive attitude and their ability to provide constructive feedback. Sharon is also experienced in classroom management.

Sharon Williams has a QTLS in Education and Training from the Society for Education and Training, a Certificate in Learning Support from Bridgwater College, a PGCE from the University of Plymouth, a TEFL from I-to-I, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business and Management from Bournemouth University, a Professional Trainer Certificate from Bridgwater Collage, and an HND in Business from Bridgwater College.
