Richard McHenry lives partly in East Sussex, South of London, UK, and Vail, Colorado. He is semi-retired after 25 years in residential construction. Mr. McHenry’s philanthropic focus includes conservation efforts in Africa and the growing issue of marine pollution. He attended Paul Smiths College where he received a degree in Forestry in 1984.
Mr. McHenry joined the Board of Directors of the Richard Lounsbery Foundation in 2002. His family has served the Lounsbery Foundation for four decades. His father, Alan McHenry, was the Foundation’s first President and Founder.
