Ayeza Ahmed

Ayeza Ahmed, CPA, CA, MMPA has a strong and diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Ayeza currently holds the position of VP Finance at Richardson Wealth, starting in October 2022. Previously, Ayeza worked at BMO Financial Group where they held several roles, including Director, Controller Cdn P&C from May 2019 to October 2022, Director & LFO, Corporate Expense from January 2017 to May 2019, and Senior Manager, Financial Performance Management from April 2015 to January 2017. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager, Accounting Policy and Advisory Services at Bank of Montreal from July 2010 to April 2015. Ayeza also gained valuable experience as a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting at MDS Inc from January 2008 to August 2010 and as a Manager, Financial Reporting at Maple Leaf Foods from December 2005 to January 2008. Ayeza started their career at Nortel, where they worked as a Manager, Technical Accounting from August 2003 to December 2005. Ayeza began their professional journey at Deloitte as a Senior from 2002 to 2003.

Ayeza Ahmed, CPA, CA, MMPA, pursued their education at Western University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in ACS, majoring in business and sociology from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they completed their Master's degree in Management & Professional Accounting, focusing on accounting, at the University of Toronto Mississauga from 1998 to 2000.
