Krystal Bass is an experienced Secondary Science Teacher with a strong background in chemistry, biology, and earth sciences. Currently employed at Richland School District 400 since August 2022, Krystal instructs AP Chemistry and Chemistry. Prior experiences include teaching AP Biology, Biology, Earth & Space Science, and Geology at Fairbanks North Star Borough School District from August 2018 to May 2022, and serving as a Secondary Science Teacher at Kent School District from June 2015 to June 2018. In the earlier role at Kent School District, Krystal implemented content knowledge pedagogy aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, fostering an inclusive learning environment and effective classroom management strategies. Krystal also contributed to scientific research as a Research Imaging Assistant at the National Science Foundation in 2012, focusing on genetic transformation in teleost embryos.
