Maria Owens

Maria Owens has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maria began their career as a Vice President at First Union National Bank/Wachovia in 1987 and held this position until 2001. Maria then worked as a Music Educator for Richland School District 2 from 2005 to 2013. In 2014, Maria joined Richland Two Institute of Innovation as a Career Specialist/CDF and remained in this role until 2020. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Richland School District 2. Additionally, they have also worked as a Speaker/Teacher at As For Me and My House Ministries since 2001.

Maria Owens completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University from 1983 to 1987.
