Director Of Support Services at Richmond Ambulance Authority

Dan Fellows has had a varied and extensive work experience. Dan first worked as a Maintenance Manager at Laidlaw Transit from April 1998 to May 2000. Then, they joined Richmond Ambulance Authority and held multiple roles. Dan started as a Fleet Mechanic in May 2000 and worked until November 2008. Dan then became the Vehicle Maintenance Manager from November 2007 until February 2017. Currently, they are the Director of Support Services since February 2017.

Dan Fellows attended Nashville Auto Diesel College from 1992 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Auto Diesel Technology with a specialization in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

RAA is one of only eleven systems in the United States that has received accreditation from both the National Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) and the National Academy of Emergency Dispatch (NAED). These accreditations are considered the “gold standard” for ambulance services, certifying distinction for quality patient care and ambulance operations.
