James Voight

James Voight has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. James is currently the Vice President of Operations at Richmond American Homes since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Construction at Urban Moment from February 2020 to February 2023.

From 2010 to 2020, James held various positions at Milestone Community Builders, including Vice President of Construction, Director of Construction, and Area Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic planning, business development, construction management, and driving continuous improvement within the project execution environment.

Before joining Milestone Community Builders, James served as the Operations Manager at D&H Roofing Inc. from 2005 to 2009, where they collaborated to develop and implement a strategic plan for growth and profitability. James also worked as an Area Manager at Bowen Family Homes in 2005, overseeing proposal management efforts and directing construction operations.

James started their career as a Vice President at Superior Construction from 2004 to 2005 and as a Senior Superintendent at DR Horton from 1997 to 2004. James began their professional journey in the United States Marine Corps as a 0352 Cpl E-4 from 1994 to 1997.

James Voight attended Big Spring High School where they pursued a general studies curriculum. After high school, they went on to study at Howard College, where they completed coursework towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management.
