Chris Harper Triplett is an experienced art educator and project manager with a diverse background in both the arts and technology sectors. Since September 2015, Chris has served as an Art Teacher at the Richmond Art Center, conducting fine art painting classes and workshops. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Terradatum as a Product and Project Manager from March 2008 to August 2014, where responsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders to improve software products and implementing Agile methodologies. From August 1995 to June 2012, Chris held the position of Director of the Project Management Group at Charles Schwab and Co., overseeing multidisciplinary projects and ensuring alignment with business goals. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts in Modern Art History, Theory and Criticism from Azusa Pacific University, complemented by earlier studies at Arizona State University.

The Richmond Art Center is the largest visual arts center in the East Bay, dedicated to bringing art to young and old alike who reflect the diverse richness of our community. We're is a visual arts showcase and hands-on learning center that gives wide-ranging audiences the opportunity to create, see and learn about art. Every year, we serve more than 1,800 students through classes and programs taught by professional artists, both onsite at the Center and offsite at local schools, studios and community centers. Our four galleries allow us to mount rotating exhibitions that display the works of emerging and established Bay Area artists. Artists such as Richard Diebenkorn, Jasper Johns, Jay DeFeo, Wanxin Zhang, Hung Liu, Ed Rossbach and Peter Voulkos have been showcased here.
