Andrea Tucker

Andrea Tucker is an experienced educator with a strong background in science education and administrative roles within public school systems. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Richmond Public Schools since August 2015, Andrea teaches Earth Science to 9th to 12th-grade students at George Wythe High School. Prior experience includes roles as an Administrative Intern and Coordinator for an after-school tutoring program, as well as a Science Department Chair, where Andrea was instrumental in revising academic strategies for accreditation. Andrea has also held teaching positions in various schools since 1999, consistently achieving high pass rates in Physical and Earth Science. Andrea's educational qualifications include a Post Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation degree in Science Education from Western Governors University and a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.
