Rachel Pasteris

Rachel Pasteris is an experienced Mathematics and Computer Science educator currently teaching 8th grade Analytical Algebra 2 and 7th grade Programming & Interactive Media+ at Ransom Everglades School since January 2024. Rachel has coached a middle school math team, designed summer enrichment materials, and served as a substitute teacher, providing effective classroom management and lesson implementation. Additionally, Rachel has held various educational roles, including CASE Advising Practicum Student at Florida International University, Curriculum Author for Flex Education, and Student Teacher at Miami Coral Park Senior High School. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education from the same institution, complemented by an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College. Rachel has also demonstrated leadership skills as Vice President of the YES! For Environmental Sustainability Club and as Coordinator for the Honors College Mentoring Program.
