Scott Waters

Scott Waters is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience, currently serving as a Court Bailiff at Richmond County Sheriffs Office since May 2019. Waters has also been involved in academia as a Basic Law Enforcement QA at Richmond Community College since January 2009 and has had a long-standing role as a Disk Jockey at WJSG G104 FM Radio Station since August 1991. As a volunteer, Waters holds the position of Chief with the Richmond County Rescue Volunteer Rescue Squad since June 1989. Previously, Waters served as Chief of Police for the City of Hamlet from December 1991 until retirement in April 2019, completing over 30 years of service. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Richmond Community College. Additional studies include electronic servicing at Richmond Community College.
