Emily Houdi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations, communications, and government relations. Currently serving as Chief of Staff to Mayor David West in Richmond Hill since February 2022, Emily previously held roles as a Public Relations Communications Consultant and Director of Strategy and Government Relations at the Iranian Canadian Business Expo. A strong background in media relations and strategic communication is complemented by prior positions at York Region Transit as a Service Planner and as an Executive Assistant to municipal leaders in Richmond Hill and Markham. Emily's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration from Ryerson University and a Bachelor's degree from York University, reinforcing a solid foundation in public policy and governance.
