Samantha Cheng is a dedicated research assistant currently contributing to projects at the University of Toronto's Department of Nutritional Sciences and McMaster University's Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact. In addition to research roles, Samantha holds leadership positions, including Co-Chair at Ray of Hope Charity Garden, where efforts focus on community engagement through volunteerism and horticultural education. As the Director of the Food Collective Centre at McMaster Students Union, responsibilities include overseeing operations, managing a team, and advocating for food security for students and the community. A background in various teaching and operational roles, complemented by ongoing education in medicine at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's in Health Science from McMaster University, highlights Samantha's commitment to health and community service.
