Lauren Marshall, CPSM has a diverse range of work experience. Lauren is currently the Director of Communications at Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Manager at HKS, Inc. from September 2021 to May 2023. Lauren was also a Marketing Coordinator at Wiley|Wilson from September 2019 to September 2021. Before that, they held the same position at Glave and Holmes Architecture from February 2013 to September 2019 and at Baskervill from September 2012 to January 2013. Lauren gained experience as a Communications Intern at Allianz Global Assistance from June 2012 to August 2012. Lauren also served as the Marketing Manager for The Black Sheep at Virginia Tech at Black Card Media from December 2011 to June 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Server at Vintage Ridge Vineyard from May 2011 to June 2012. Lauren had an internship and field study with the Division of Student Affairs at Virginia Tech from August 2011 to May 2012. Lauren began their professional career as an Attendant for a Child with Autism at Public Partnerships, LLC from July 2009 to June 2011.
Lauren Marshall, CPSM, received a B.A. in Communication and a double major in Human Development from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Lauren also holds a certification as a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) from the SMPS—Society for Marketing Professional Services, which they obtained in December 2022.

As a proud affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity has been putting faith into action in our community since 1986, partnering with local families and individuals to build more than 380 homes in the City of Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County. At our core, Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call their home. We believe affordable housing plays a role that is critical in building strong and stable communities. By coordinating and working with dedicated volunteers, community partners, and corporate sponsors, families are able to purchase and move into houses they help build themselves—allowing them to truly have a safe place they can call home.
