As a proud affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity has been putting faith into action in our community since 1986, partnering with local families and individuals to build more than 380 homes in the City of Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County.

At our core, Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call their home. We believe affordable housing plays a role that is critical in building strong and stable communities. By coordinating and working with dedicated volunteers, community partners, and corporate sponsors, families are able to purchase and move into houses they help build themselves—allowing them to truly have a safe place they can call home.

The Community Services Team at Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity focuses on fostering relationships with local families, volunteers, and community partners to promote affordable housing initiatives. They coordinate homeowner services, manage community engagement efforts, oversee communications, and ensure the success of the ReStore, all aimed at building and enhancing strong, stable communities through accessible housing solutions.
