Ravi Patel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at SINA Hospitality since August 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing all departments, managing hotel development and construction, real estate holdings, and maintaining relationships with major hotel franchises and vendors. In addition to this role, Ravi Patel is a member of the Board of Directors at BizWorks Enterprise Center and serves as Chief Executive Officer at SINA Hospitality Purchasing & Renovations. Ravi Patel is also actively involved in various committees, including the Marriott Capital Asset Planning & Execution Committee and the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Franchise Advisory Council. Other notable roles include advisory positions at Bryant & Stratton College and Richmond Region Tourism, as well as prior involvement with the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. Ravi Patel holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Each year, more than 16 million people visit the Richmond Region, and they contribute close to $2.9 billion to the local economy. Tourism generates almost 24,000 jobs in the Richmond Region. Richmond Region Tourism is a private, not-for-profit dedicated to promoting the Region to meeting, convention and sports event planners, tour operators and leisure travelers. The organization represents the cities of Richmond and Colonial Heights, the town of Ashland and four counties: Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and New Kent.
