John Donnellan

John Donnellan is a seasoned advertising professional with extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as a Regional Advertising Account Executive at Richmond Times-Dispatch since April 2021. Prior to this role, Donnellan held the position of Premium Accounts Director at Tribune Publishing Company from August 2018 to April 2021 and was a Senior Account Executive at The Virginian-Pilot from August 2001 to April 2021, where achievements included winning the Pilot Media President's Club in 2012 and 2017, as well as being named Pilot Media Salesperson of the Year on six occasions. Earlier career experiences include serving as Recruitment Advertising Manager at The Hartford Courant and working as a Sports Writer for Shore Line Newspapers. Academic credentials include a BA and MS in Journalism and Corporate Communications from Iona University, where Donnellan studied from 1982 to 1987.
