Ilona Dávid is a Certified economist. Graduated from the College of Finance and Accounting in 1996, then from the University of Western Hungary in 2012. She began her career at Spar Hungary Ltd. From 2001 to 2003 Chief Financial Officer at Dunaferr Zrt. CFO at Lukoil Zrt between 2003 and 2004, then at Duna Auto Ltd between 2004 and 2005. Head of Accounting at MÁV Hungarian State Railways from 2005 to 2010. CEO at Gysev (Raaberbahn) Zrt. from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018 Chairman and CEO of MÁV Hungarian State Railways. Chairman and CEO of Volánbusz Zrt. from 2018 to 2020. Currently CEO of GVC Group (George’s Venture Capital Zrt.), the managing company of HUNGAST Group. President of Voluntary Pension Fund of Railway and Transport Workers. Supervisory Board member of MOL Plc. and the University of Dunaújváros. In the framework of social responsibility activity, she is the vice president of the Hungarian Ski Association and a founding member of the WOMEN FOR HUNGARY Club. Mentor in HBSL’s management program. She got a Knight’s Golden Cross (civilian) of the Hungarian Order of Merit in 2014. In 2020 she was awarded the Lánczy Leó prize.
