Charles Zhao (Guiping)

Charles (Guiping) Zhao is an accomplished PVD Engineer with extensive experience in the development and production of PVD coatings. Currently at Richter Precision Inc since March 2016, previous roles include Staff Engineer in Advanced Manufacturing at Kennametal, demonstrating expertise in PVD coating for carbide inserts, and PVD Technologist at Grohe Canada, focusing on R&D and production of decorative coatings for premium faucets. Prior experience also includes a position as Research Scientist at Xerox Research Centre of Canada, where research centered on durable overcoats for super inkjet printing media. Charles holds a PhD in Nanotechnology (Surface Physics) from Newcastle University and a BSc in Physics (Magnetics) from Lanzhou University.
