Dave Button

Dave Button is an experienced Vice President Administration (Emeritus) at the University of Regina, where they have excelled in the higher education industry since 2006. They previously served as President of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers from 2008 to 2013 and as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Confucius Institute at the University of Regina from 2012 to 2023. Additionally, Dave has held leadership roles in various organizations, including as Chair of the Board of Directors for CURIE (2013-2019) and as a member of the Saskatchewan Provincial Capital Commission (2016-2023). They possess a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Certified Director credential from McMaster University. Currently, they serve on the advisory committee of the Rick Hansen Foundation while contributing to educational initiatives as an Emeritus Vice President.
