Sophie Joyal

Sophie Joyal has a diverse work experience within the retail and clothing industry. Sophie started as a Merchandiser at Dex Clothing in 1999 and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Purchaser at Bonwitt Mfg / Sumac Clothing. In 2003, they briefly served as a Marketing Coordinator at Brawd Mfg / H.A.S.H. Jeans. Sophie then joined Ricki's in 2004 and held various positions, including Assistant Buyer, Associate Buyer, Buyer, Senior Buyer, Team Leader, and currently, they are the Director of Product & Design.

Sophie Joyal's education history begins in 1995 when they obtained a Certificate in Fashion Design from Lucia Au's School of Fashion Design. From 1996 to 1998, they attended the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Human Ecology to pursue studies in the field. In 1998, Sophie enrolled at the International Academy of Design, where they completed a program in Commercialisation de la mode with a DEC degree. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from Università Bocconi.
