Simon Sołtysiak

Simon Sołtysiak has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Simon started their career as a Freelancer Software Developer in 2009, where they developed websites for individuals and small companies. During this time, they became proficient in technologies such as Flash, JavaScript, Wordpress, and C#.

In 2012, Simon joined AvioLinx as a System Developer, where they built an enterprise web application for airline companies to manage their strategic, financial, and operational business processes. Simon was responsible for full stack development of web and mobile apps, implementing new features, and fixing existing ones.

Later that year, Simon became the CTO of Doctor Kinetic, a company that offers medical and fitness professionals a solution to increase patient motivation towards exercise. Their role involved designing motion detection applications and games, full stack web development, client support, coordinating agile processes, and leading a team of intern developers.

Simon also worked as a Tech advisor at PolBer in 2016 and as a Head Of Engineering at Vermietet.de (von ImmoScout24) from 2017 to 2023. At Vermietet.de, they played a key role in the integration process with ImmoScout24 and led the tech chapter. Simon also served as a Tech Lead at Vermietet.de, where they digitized property management for landlords.

In 2023, Simon took on the role of an Engineering Coach, supporting developers in their professional growth through career advice, tech stack selection, and developing learning plans.

Most recently, Simon joined RIDE Capital in 2023 as an Engineering Team Lead, where they oversee the team's engineering efforts.

Simon Sołtysiak obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Poznan University of Technology, starting in 2006 and completing it in 2011. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Agile Planning for Software Products" from Coursera in August 2018 and "Think Again: How to Reason and Argue" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2015.
