Director of Engineering - India Operations at Ridecell

Tushar Bankar has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1994. Tushar began their career as a Systems Analyst/Programmer/Module Lead/Project Lead at TCS in Pune. Tushar then moved to Alstom Group in Rochester Hills as a Senior Software Engineer in 1998. In 2000, they joined Avaya in Dublin, CA as an MTS. After that, they were a Software Engineering Manager at PTC from 2003 to 2011. In 2011, they co-founded Alphastellar and served as the CEO, developing three major products in the B2C domain. One of them was very successful and they completed two outsourced product developments to support the company financially. In 2015, they joined Infosys as a Senior Principal Technology Architect and a Principal Technology Architect. In 2017, they joined Exela Technologies as an Enterprise Technical Architect and proposed a complete re-architecture of the company's three monolith flagship applications. Finally, in 2018, they joined Ridecell as the Director of Engineering for India Operations, leading the India development center and the India Nemo team.

Tushar Bankar's education history includes a Master's Degree in Electrical Engg from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1992-1994), a BE in Electronics and Telecommunications from COEP Technological University (1988-1992), a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDIB SCDL) from Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies- Pune (2005-2007), and an HSC from S P College Pune (1986-1988). Tushar also has three additional certifications: Blockchain Essentials for Developers from IBM (obtained in February 2017), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (obtained in September 2016), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (obtained in January 2016).
