Connel Valentine

Connel Valentine has over 19 years of work experience in various IT roles. Connel most recently worked as the Director of Technical Services and Data Analytics at RideCo On-Demand Transit starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rogers Communications for 7 years, where they held multiple roles including Senior Manager Reporting and Analytics and IT Manager Reporting and Analytics. In these roles, they focused on automating data retrieval and analysis, consolidating data into a single tool, and developing reporting and analytics deliverables for senior management. Connel also designed reporting and analytics frameworks for various teams within the organization. Before joining Rogers Communications, Connel worked at International SOS as an IT Manager for 8 years, where they were responsible for resolving end-user requests and incidents. Connel achieved a 95% end-user satisfaction rating, one of the highest in the company. Prior to that, they worked at Wärtsilä as an IT Specialist, providing hardware and software support, performing data backup, and assisting users with computer-related issues.

Connel Valentine completed their high school education at St. Mary's Catholic High School from 1985 to 2000, where they focused on computer science. Connel then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Champlain College, graduating in 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Connel has obtained several certifications. Connel received the ITIL V3 Continual Service Improvement certification from Global Knowledge Canada in January 2017. Connel also holds the HDI Support Center Team Lead certification from HDI since August 2015, the Microsoft Project 2013 Professional certification from Microsoft since April 2015, and the ITIL V3 Operations Support & Analysis certification from EXIN your ICT competence partner since February 2011. Furthermore, Connel obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA in July 2015 and the PMP Certified certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2013.
