Zachary Overby

Zachary Overby has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Zachary started their career at Raytheon in 2016, where they held multiple roles. As an Embedded Software Engineer, they focused on developing, maintaining, and upgrading flight software using both legacy C code and newer C++ code. Zachary also implemented algorithms to balance timing constraints and hardware limitations.

Later, Zachary transitioned into the role of a System Engineer, where they managed updates to seeker systems and related programs. Zachary investigated abnormalities and failures using lab work, research, and data gathering programs.

Before that, Zachary worked as a Program Test Engineer at Raytheon, where they were responsible for planning, controlling, and directing test equipment development across several programs. Zachary collaborated with software engineers to develop and review software changes to test code, and assessed projects in terms of changes and risk/opportunity costs.

Currently, Zachary is working as a Software Developer at rideOS, which was acquired by Gopuff in 2021. No end date is provided for this role.

Zachary Overby attended Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics.
