Vidya Ganapathy

Vidya Ganapathy currently serves as the Director of Sponsored Programs and Research at Rider University, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this, Ganapathy was the Research Program Director at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation from November 2021 to July 2024, where responsibilities included measuring grant outcomes and providing scientific input for staff. Ganapathy's academic career at Rutgers University spanned over a decade, encompassing roles such as Graduate Faculty, Assistant Research Professor, and Research Associate, with a focus on rare earth nanoprobes and their applications in breast cancer research. Other key research positions include post-doctoral fellowships at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New York University, and Loma Linda University, concentrating on breast cancer metastasis and apoptosis mechanisms. Education includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Southern California and a B.Pharm from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
