Brendan Baker

Brendan Baker is a Partner at Ridge Ventures. Brendan has previously worked as Grabango, Sama, Loop, Aumni, and Ridge Ventures. Brendan has also been an advisor for various companies such as Aumni, Passport, Batch, The Beans, Shift, Heartbeat, etc. from January 2017 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were a consultant at OX1 from May 2016 to June 2019 where they enjoyed figuring out how to evolve the model of venture capital. Before that, they were the Director at Greylock from July 2011 to February 2015 where they built a team to inject code and data into a great venture firm.

Brendan Baker attended the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, where they earned their MBA with distinction. Brendan then went on to study engineering for sustainable development as an MPhil student at the University of Cambridge. Finally, they completed their undergraduate degree in materials engineering at the University of British Columbia.

Brendan Baker reports to Alexander Rosen, Managing Partner and Co-Founder. They work with Yousuf Khan - Partner, Derrick Lee - CFO, and Gil Penchina - Partner.
