John Shimp

John Shimp is the managing partner at Ridgemont Equity Partners, a private equity firm. Prior to joining Ridgemont, John spent 10 years at Bank of America in their capital investors group. There, they were responsible for investments in the banking, energy and industrial sectors. Before Bank of America, John was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where they worked with clients in the banking sector.

John Shimp has an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and an AB in Chemistry from Duke University.
