Established in 1894, the Ridgewood Public Schools, committed to a tradition of excellence and innovation, have a long-standing history of delivering a high-quality education focused on maximizing the unique potential of every learner. Ridgewood is the largest single-town school system in Bergen County. The district comprises ten schools: one preschool, six elementary schools (K-5), two middle schools (6-8), and one high school (9-12). Instruction and school services are provided by approximately 620 contracted employees, and 78% of the district's teachers possess a master’s degree or higher. The expertise and dedication of the faculty and staff are reflected in their ongoing commitment to professional growth and cumulative years of service to the students of Ridgewood.
