Eric Stutzenberger has worked in the software engineering field since 2003. Eric began their career as a Student Researcher at the University of Louisville, where they developed software algorithms to verify theoretical Lambda particle lifetime with experimental and simulated data, as well as a dynamic programming algorithm to determine similarity between two DNA sequences. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Honeywell, where they developed a common Database access layer in C# and a large scale fire system configuration application using C#, and released two updated versions of an embedded Linux device using the vxWorks operating system. In 2008, they joined Garmin AT as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed an ATmega48 power control solution using AVR Stuido and embedded software product development using C, as well as FAA DO178-B software certification and verification. In 2010, they began working at Rigado, where they served as Principal Software Engineer, Senior Embedded Software Engineer and Module Software Lead, and Director of Firmware Engineering. During their time at Rigado, they developed Bluetooth Low Energy interface libraries for both iOS and Android, including over the air updates to devices, and developed communications protocol for iOS to communicate with and control external hardware. In 2013, Eric founded Lumenplay, Inc., where they serve as Lead Software Engineer. At Lumenplay, they have developed RGB sting lighting and licensed their technologies to other lighting companies.
Eric Stutzenberger attended the University of Louisville from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, with a focus in Computer Engineering and Physics. Prior to that, they attended Campbell County High School from 1997 to 2001.
