David Lawrence

David Lawrence is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial litigation. Currently serving as a Commercial Litigation Partner at Rigby Slack Lawrence Pepper + Comerford, PLLC since February 2019, David previously held the position of Partner at Smith | Robertson, L.L.P from January 2018 to January 2019, and served as a Litigation Shareholder at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. from August 2016 to December 2017. Prior to that, David was Senior Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP from October 2003 to June 2016, and completed a judicial internship for the late Honorable Justice Mack Kidd at the Texas Court of Appeals for the Third District in 2001. David Lawrence earned a JD with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2003, following a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors in Finance from the same institution in May 1999.
