Kathrin Mallot

Kathrin Mallot has diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Intern and External Consultant for the International Labour Organization, where they assisted with various tasks related to social security and social protection. Kathrin then joined DESY in 2011 and worked as a Researcher Phd Candidate until 2016, conducting research in a specific field. Following that, they worked at Emsisoft as a Technical Support staff from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they took on the role of Winterover Experiment Operator at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center for a year. In 2020, they became a Software and Model Developer at right. based on science, and later the same year, they were promoted to the position of Head of XDC Model Software, where they lead a team and manages cross-team projects, among other responsibilities.

Kathrin Mallot started their education at the lycee international de ferney-voltaire from 1999 to 2003. Kathrin then pursued a Diplom in Physics at The University of Freiburg from 2003 to 2009. In 2005 and 2006, they attended Universidad Autónoma de Madrid for Physics studies. From 2011 to 2016, Kathrin Mallot obtained a Research Doctorate in Astrophysics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
