Head of Client Performance & Relationships (US) at Right Hook Digital

Billy Bambao has a diverse work experience in digital marketing and strategy roles. Billy started their career in 2008, holding various leadership positions in marketing and digital strategy at companies such as Torstar Digital, various startups, Search Engine People, and autoTRADER. During this time, they worked with a range of clients, from local businesses to global brands like Ford, Microsoft, and PayPal, and achieved award-winning results. In 2016, Bambao founded Engauge Digital, a creative marketing studio specializing in customer acquisition and growth for automotive and ecommerce brands. Billy helped these brands scale and improve their ROI through social media marketing campaigns. The company was later acquired by Uhuru Network. At Uhuru, as the E-Commerce Program Owner and Lead Strategist, Bambao led a marketing team known as "The Dream Team" and delivered growth solutions to clients in the ECommerce, SaaS, and Automotive sectors. Billy played a key role in developing e-commerce marketing processes, strategizing marketing plans for brands transitioning to digital sales, streamlining PPC campaign processes, and leading branding initiatives for notable events and projects. In 2021, Bambao joined Right Hook Digital as Head of Client Performance & Relationships (US), where they lead a team of Strategists and helps e-commerce brands achieve high ROI.

Billy Bambao attended Durham College from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Multimedia Design/Marketing (MMDE). In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in June 2013, and Google Adwords (Search Advertising) and Google Analytics certifications from Google in May 2013.
