Travis Black

Travis Black, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 20 years of diverse work experience in human resources and talent management. Travis is currently the Executive Vice President at Right Management-Florida/Caribbean, where they lead the Career Management practice for the region and oversees the delivery of career management, career mobility, and HR consulting solutions. Prior to this role, Travis held various leadership positions within Right Management, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, where they provided career transition training and coaching to employees at all levels.

In addition to their work at Right Management, Travis is a Co-Founder of The Executive Bridge, a career development and coaching organization. Travis also has experience in talent acquisition and travel operations leadership at Crowley and served as a Senior HR Business Partner at Regency Centers.

Earlier in their career, Travis gained experience in medical sales and talent acquisition at PSS, where they exceeded sales hiring quotas and reduced vendor spend while increasing company profitability. Travis also served as a Recruiting Manager at HNTB, where they developed staffing plans and recruiting strategies for multiple divisions. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Contracts Manager and Account Recruiting Manager at Aerotek, where they developed new business, managed recruiting staff, and built relationships with clients.

Travis holds professional certifications in human resources (PHR) and talent management (SHRM-CP), demonstrating their commitment to excellence in their field.

Travis Black, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of North Florida, as well as an A.A. in Business from Georgia Southern University. Additionally, Travis has obtained several certifications, including the Crucial Conversations Trainer and Team Management Profile Trainer from Vital Smarts and TMP respectively. Furthermore, Travis is also a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certified by the HR Certification Institute and has completed an Instructional Systems Design Certificate from the University of North Florida. Travis is currently pursuing the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
