ART Clinician at RIGHT TO CARE

Moses Makondo has a diverse range of work experience in the field of healthcare. Moses worked at Right to Care as an ART Clinician, where they focused on implementing targeted testing strategies and ensuring high rates of HIV status knowledge, initiation of care, and viral suppression. Moses also made nutrition assessment counseling services available to improve the nutrition and adherence of ART patients. Prior to that, they were a Peer Navigator at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science: Rise Up Project, where they screened and provided support for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in relation to HIV, PrEP, and PEP. Additionally, they conducted outreach programs and community adherence group sessions. Moses also worked as an ART/TB Clinical Officer on probation at Cooperative Agreement (CoAg), where they were involved in offering various HIV testing services, clinical reviews, and screening for TB, STIs, and cervical cancer.

From 2016 to 2019, Moses Makondo attended the Lusaka Institute of Applied Science, where they pursued a Diploma in Clinical Medicine Sciences.
