Edith Esinam Asamani-Wasie

Edith Esinam Asamani-Wasie is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in international development and advocacy. Currently serving as the Communications Manager for Right To Play since May 2022, Edith collaborates with multiple country offices to enhance communications strategies and align them with organizational goals. Previous roles include Chapter Lead for Girls Talk Accra, Programme Support for the UN Joint Programme on Empowering Adolescent Girls at UNFPA, Chairperson of the African Youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development in Ghana, and Founder of Knitweb Foundation. Edith has contributed as a Communications Officer and Project Officer for various organizations, including Women Deliver and Curious Minds Ghana, while also holding leadership positions in youth advocacy networks. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International Affairs from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
