Lance Taylor

Lance Taylor has extensive experience in finance and executive leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as a US Board Member for Right To Play since May 2014, Lance also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at HGGC, LLC from May 2014 to May 2024. Previous roles include Managing Director & CFO at Calera Capital from May 2012 to May 2014, and Chief Financial Officer at Legacy Venture from December 2005 to May 2012, where significant contributions included raising over $700 million in venture capital commitments and overseeing financial, operational, human resources, and IT functions. Earlier in the career, Lance was a Senior Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, guiding a public software company through compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, held the role of Director of Finance at Lightspeed Venture Partners, and worked in audit at Arthur Andersen. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
