Parvin Ngala

VP, Country Offices at Right To Play

Parvin has over 20 years’ experience in the development and humanitarian sector including over 15 years as a senior leader and development expert overseeing large-scale, complex, multi-sectoral, multi-country programs in the humanitarian and development sectors with UN organisations and INGOs. Before joining RTP, Parvin was Regional Director for Oxfam covering East, Central and Southern Africa supporting over 14 countries as a member of Oxfam’s Senior Leadership Team. Her previous roles and consultancies with Oxfam, World Vision, Welthungerhilfe, and UN agencies have included technical leadership in the WASH sector, coordination of change management processes, regional oversight of programs, significant external representation, advocacy and campaigning, delivery and oversight of emergency response and humanitarian programs, networking and program development. In addition to working across Africa, Parvin has also lived and worked in Bangladesh and Iran, with a particular passion for learning about different contexts and cultures. Parvin holds an MSc in Water and Environmental Management from Loughborough University (UK), a BSc in Environmental Health and a Post Graduate diploma in Teaching in Higher Education.
