Charlie Cook is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Rightcharge since August 2020, focusing on simplifying electric vehicle charging for fleets and drivers. Prior to this role, Charlie held the position of Head of EV Charging at Octopus Energy from June 2017 to August 2020, where notable achievements included the launch of innovative products such as Electroverse and the UK's first energy tariff for EV drivers. Charlie's earlier experience includes civil engineering positions at CERN and Laing O'Rourke, and participation in the European Innovation Academy focused on startup training. Charlie's educational background comprises an MSc in Climate Change, Management & Finance from Imperial College Business School, as well as degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and the University of Melbourne, complemented by web development training.
