Leigh Grier

Leigh Grier has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. They started their career as a Server at Sly's Sliders and Fries in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a UX Designer and later as a UX Design Intern at Roomster. At Roomster, they conducted user research, created prototypes, and assisted in creating marketing videos.

In 2019, Leigh had multiple positions. They worked as a UX Design Intern at 3M, where they gained experience in UX design. They also worked as a Barista at Dunkin' and in Customer Service/Sales at The Home Depot. Additionally, Leigh was a User Experience Designer at Ford Motor Company, where they collaborated with design, business, and engineering teams to improve the customer interactions of Android native software in Lincoln vehicles. They were recognized with the 2020 Ford Innovation Award and were recipients of the 2020 and 2021 Ford Recognition Program.

In 2022, Leigh joined IBM iX as a Senior User Experience Designer. They contributed to UX research and Interaction Design for IBM's iX group, working with clients like Toyota to improve workflows and develop user journeys, personas, and hi-fi wireframes.

Leigh subsequently worked at Apple in 2022 as a Product Specialist, leveraging their expertise in the field. Currently, they are employed at Rightpoint as a Senior UX Researcher, where they utilize their skills to conduct research and provide insights for the company.

Prior to their current role, Leigh worked at LPL Financial in 2023 as an Assistant Vice President of Product Experience Research. In this position, they led UX Research initiatives to identify opportunities for system and service improvements that enhance corporate-wide workflows. They facilitated workshops, resulting in the development of requirements, use cases, flow maps, and user journeys.

Leigh Grier completed their high school education at West Morris Mendham High School from 2009 to 2011, after which they obtained a high school diploma. They then attended The Masters School from 2012 to 2014, where they earned their high school diploma. Lastly, Leigh Grier pursued higher education at the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2014 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA degree with a focus on User Experience Design.
