Fares Maali is a seasoned professional in the field of anti-piracy and content protection with extensive experience. Currently serving as the Head of Anti-Piracy Operation at RightsHero since April 2022, Fares leads a team focused on safeguarding clients' rights against online piracy and ensuring comprehensive digital content protection. Prior to this role, Fares spent over 12 years at OSN in various capacities, including Senior Anti-Piracy & Content Security Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed monitoring piracy threats, implementing anti-piracy strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to combat content infringement in the MENA region. Fares also has experience in technical operations within the media industry, having worked at organizations such as Arab Media Group and Al Dawliyah Media Group, where responsibilities included scheduling and monitoring channel broadcasts. Fares holds a degree in Photography & Montage, earned between 1993 and 1996.
