Sergei Vychegzhanin completed their education at Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University (SPbSPU). From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Software Development at SPbSPU. Sergei then continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a master's degree in Computer Science from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Sergei Vychegzhanin has acquired several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Become a Xamarin.Forms Developer" certification program offered by LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained the certification for "Learning npm the Node Package Manager" from LinkedIn as well. Most recently, in 2023, Sergei Vychegzhanin achieved the "Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I)" certification from Scrum.org.
