Mark Elyea

Mark Elyea has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mark began their career in the United States Air Force as a Weather Technician and served for over 20 years. Following their military service, Mark worked as a Computer Support Technician at Gateway, where they provided technical assistance to end-users. Mark then moved on to Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs, where they served as a Network Administrator, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the company's computer networks.

Mark joined Healthways as a Senior Network Administrator, where they handled the daily administration, maintenance, and backup of computer systems, as well as network security. Mark then worked at INSTOS as a System Administrator and Help Desk support, managing the local area network and providing troubleshooting and repair services.

In 2009, Mark joined Ke'aki Technologies as a Systems Administrator, responsible for the Joint Medical Asset Repository for the Department of Defense. Mark also worked at Tantus Technologies, Inc. as a Systems Administrator IV, overseeing the platform infrastructure for the Unified Reports for the Enterprise (PURE) at the Federal Aviation Administration.

In this role, they designed, built, and provided daily administration for the Federal Aviation Administration's Business Intelligence Platform. Mark's accomplishments include building a complete Business Objects environment, configuring it for Secure Transport and Active Directory Single sign-on, and upgrading SAPJVM to support TLS1.

Mark Elyea earned an Associate's degree in Meteorology from the Community College of the Air Force in 1977. Mark furthered their education in the field by obtaining an Associates in Applied Science degree in Meteorology with a focus on Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the same institution, from 1996 to 1998. In 1999, Mark also obtained a certification in A+ Comptia from CompTIA.
