Tom Smart is an accomplished biopharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Actym Therapeutics, Inc., Tom spearheads the development of innovative drug modalities utilizing genetically modified bacterial vehicles for targeted cancer therapies. In addition, Tom holds a board position at RIGImmune Inc., which focuses on novel immunotherapies for viral diseases and cancers. Previously, Tom was the Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair of Gravitas Therapeutics, Inc., where Tom successfully raised funding and facilitated the sale of a clinical-stage antifungal asset.
