Jan Christensen

Jan Christensen is a seasoned professional in the field of rehabilitation and public health, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Rigshospitalet since June 2020 and as an Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health, Københavns Universitet, since December 2022. Previously, Jan held postdoctoral researcher positions at Copenhagen University Hospital and REHPA, specializing in the rehabilitation of Danish veterans and civilians with traumatic injuries. Jan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation from Københavns Universitet and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from University of Southern Denmark. With experience as a research consultant and research assistant, Jan has contributed to various studies, including those focused on patellar tendinopathy and quality improvement in primary healthcare.
